7585editHEATHER CHRISTIAN is an Obie Award winning composer/performer. Recent Sundance Fellow and Ars Nova Uncharted Member with new musical Annie Salem, alongside Rachel Chavkin. Selected credits: multi-media concerts ANIMAL WISDOM (Transform ’17) and NORTH (LaMama), the TEAM’s MISSION DRIFT (International Tour), Ripe Time’s THE WORLD IS ROUND (Obie, BAM), OF MICE AND MEN (West Yorkshire Playhouse). Film scores: MAN ROTS FROM HEADEAT, PAULINE ALONE, WOMEN IN DEEPand GREGORY GO BOOM (2014 Sundance Grand Jury Prize). She recently scored the entire 2016 season at Hudson Valley Shakespeare (AS YOU LIKE IT, MACBETH, MEASURE FOR MEASURE) and Lucy Thurber’s ORPHEUS at Williamstown. She is a long-time collaborator with the TEAM, Jane Comfort Company, Mac Wellman, Big Dance Theater, Taylor Mac, and Witness Relocation. Recently named one of TimeOut NY’s Downtown Innovators to Watch, she has released 5 records and can be seen all over the world with her band, Heather Christian & The Arbornauts.

7510editSTEPHANIE RYAN JOHNSTONE is a human/artist/activist/composer. Her acclaimed, music-drenched, highly collaborative theater work is rooted in conversations about economic justice and queer politics; her work has been featured at venues including CSC, HERE Arts Center, 3LD, Joe’s Pub, and NYMF; residencies include: Pace and Montclair State Universities; Adam Guettel’s group lab composition class; and the New Dramatists’ Composer/Librettist Studio (2006). A multi-instrumentalist, singer, and conductor, she has worked with Liz Swados, Rachel Chavkin, and Taylor Mac (among others). She spent a year in Prague collaborating with Czech gypsy/folk band Tripura, and she was the associate music director of the national tour of WAR HORSE. She was also a part of the core visioning team for the U.S. Department of Arts and Culture, and recently returned from a cross-country house concert/conversation tour with her queer-politics-focused band and their upcoming album: LOVE SONGS FOR THE REST OF US.
